Our First Day - a little late

We have begun and see many inprovements in Anthony. He seems to have found his way around and in school. He enjoys art and music and playing on the playground. They have hermit crabs in the classroom and he just thinks that's great. He loves his teacher who is a brand new teacher. She's 12, I think!!!!! But the new ones put forth much effort in helping the kids learn and seem to be much more positive with the kids. Anthony needs that! He really wants to learn to read. That's our goal for the year. It's a big one, but I'm sure one that he can accomplish. So he is doing well!!

Fabiano is doing as well as we can expect. He is speaking much more clearly and we sort of understand what he says. bareblane is airplane. But he understands and is starting to speak correctly. Loves to eat and play and read and draw. He does keep my busy. And I've learned to love nap time!!

Now the little guy, Apollo, who we call Paulo, is growing. He weighs 20 lbs and is 10 months. This one will be a difficult one to let go. We've had him since February and it feels like he is ours. He can say Papa and ello if the phone rings. Loves to play in his box. are taking lots of pictures because I am sure they will soon find a wonderful home for him. We are going through some hard times with the Mom and if I could, well never mind. Just pray that we are able to let him go and see the fruits of our labor in some way. Here he is playing in his favorite place with all his friends. We are so fortunate to be able to have these guys in our home and be able to let them see how enjoyable life can be.

So keep us in mind. Just another update. Gramma and Dave are not doing well. Dave has already had his first breathing issues of the Fall season. So pray that this will be the last for a little while. Gramma is now having pain in the head problems. She had an MRI and we are waiting for the DR to give her the results. He only works on Fridays so she is trying to be patient and wait. She is also starting to forget some things that she should be remembering. So I will be making more trips down to help Aunti Brenda out. She has enough struggles with taking care of her mother-in-law. So just remember them each day and say a quick prayer that they will be well.

Love to all -- MiMi
