We saw the pediatric surgeon today for Luke. It is a hernia, but the bump we see is only fat. There are no intestines or organ or anything else important being pinched by the muscle gap. So, for now, we are going to just keep watching it and if it starts to bother him or change, we will have to get it fixed. The doctor also said if he's ever in surgery for anything else to have them fix it while he's already under. Amber will have her appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on September 17.
Thanks for praying! Audrey & Jordan have regular check-ups coming up in the beginning of September as well. I'm almost afraid to take them! We've seen enough specialists this year!

Love the sound of a "regular appointment" You should be pleased that all of this is taking place now and getting out of the way. It gives you all the experiences to make a day more EXCITING. I just finished reading somewhere, after a little study in II Timothy, that fear is a real strange thing. It enlarges whatever we are afraid of and shrinks our view of God. I know that isn't the case here, but it is so true. It just takes everything and magnifies it. We all know who puts fear in our path, so we'll pray that fear away.
Let Audrey know that Mimi loved her beautiful eyes. She did a pretty good job, considering her age. And the kids getting all gussied up. That's a good way to spend a day. Hope all else is well. Know your busy. Enjoy and we love you all.

Boy they start early with that make up don't they? :)
I've managed to keep Mae in lipgloss and body spray only but I'm sure the questions are right around the corner.....
Someone said 'what would you do if you weren't afraid?' really good question! I think most folks are afraid of failure...until they have kids then they're afraid of everything! aaahhh well....I usually deal with mine with a 'dive right in' maneuver....not much for prayer as my 'discussions' with the folks up above are more of a running dialogue..but it gets me through!
Hope the kiddos have a long stretch of health!
Love to all....
