We have been praying for 4 1/2 years for Luke to outgrow at least some of his food allergies. Over the years, the milk allergy has proven to be the hardest. He reacted more to it and it was harder than the others to avoid. So many times I have prayed and asked the Lord if Luke only outgrew one allergy if it could please be the milk one? In my understanding I expected Luke to pass the egg challenge and fail the milk one. But - what is my understanding compared to my Lord's? His ways are higher than mine and His thoughts higher than mine. Luke passed his milk challenge and is now considered NOT ALLERGIC TO MILK!!!!!! It has just blown me away today to remember that God loves me that much to give me what I wanted. It wasn't needed - people live with much more devastating things than milk allergies - we've learned to cope with it. But my God thought of us and as Luke said, "Jesus took away my allergy!" The power of prayer is amazing - the power of my God brings me to my knees.
We are looking forward to trying many new things: real ice cream, cheese, pizza, macaroni & cheese and so much more! Thank you for praying!
